Team Summaries Wenatchee Notes:
A perfect day for lacrosse with great weather as Wenatchee hosted issaquah for the first meeting ever between the two squads. Wenatchee jumped out early scoring just 10 seconds into the game off of the faceoff. Wenatchee won 12/18 faceoffs and were very physical on ground balls all game long. It was Back and forth all game with constant ties and lead changes through 3 quarters. Finally issaquah broke through and took a 2 goal lead halfway through the 4th quarter and never looked back. Lengthy offensive possessions ending in goals was the story of the second half for the Eagles. With a few key players missing on both sides, the game was intense from beginning to end as nobody ever seemed to gain momentum.

Issaquah is a very classy program. They play excellent lacrosse and should be a model of what lacrosse is supposed to look like to younger, up and coming teams. Thanks for making the trip out east!

Issaquah Notes:
Issaquah 3-3-2-1- 9
Wenatchee 3-2-1-1- 7

First time over the mountains for Issaquah and two things were discovered quickly:
1) The Apple Bowl is one of the best settings in the state for a lacrosse game.
2) Wenatchee plays a solid brand of Lacrosse.

Wenatchee came ready to play scoring just 10 seconds in. Issaquah struggled to match Wenatchee's physical play and groundball work on the defensive end. Though each time Wenatchee scored Issaquah had the answer and knotted the game 3-3 end of first quarter.

Issaquah took its first lead early in the second and though the game would be tied twice more, Issaquah never trailed again.

Trey DeTolla led with 4 goals and a huge 4th quarter goal from Kyle Wisler gave Issaquah the cushion it needed to grind out the win.
