Team Summaries	Gonzaga Prep Notes: No notes West Valley Notes: G-Prep 7-1-3-3 - 14 West Valley 2-5-3-3 - 13 The WV season opener was a nail biter. With several lead score changes, ties at 8, 9, 10 and 11 each, G-Prep pulled it out in the end with a one point lead. Once WV got the season/club opener gitters out of the way in the first quarter, they came back with 5 points in the second, only answered by 1 G-Prep goal. #22, WV's Ben Mashat, the first to score in the game and #20 Matt Allen, dominating the 2nd and 3rd quarters laid down their own contributions to the game with 3 and 6 goals respectively with a first time varsity score for #29 Sam Parry. WV's #74 Winter Johnson completed his hat-trick with 2 goals in the remaining 5:24 left in the game, only to be denied the tying game point due to the artful stick skills of the G-Prep goalie #30 Joe Farrell.
