| Team Summaries | Wolverines Notes: It's been an on again, off again year for the Wolverines. After playing some really nice, tight defense and finishing the regular season strong, the Wolverines have returned to some of the sloppy play that plagued them earlier in the year. Errors abound as the Wolverines can't field the ball cleanly, don't pay attention to the runners on base, and inexplicably can't get the easy outs. Luca pitches a nice game, striking out 9 over 4 innings, but can't overcome the errors and had to be taken out for pitch count. At the plate, the Wolverines hit many balls hard. To the Tigers credit, they make great defensive plays throughout the game to turn those possible hits into outs.
