Wolverines Notes:
Good pitching and timely defense allowed the Wolverines to stay close when they were down in the beginning of the game and pull away from the Sun Devils as the game went on. Eliot S. goes 3 innings, Bennett R. gets out of a no out bases loaded jam with three straight K's, and Luca M. closed it out. The Wolverines struggled to get hits early and were down 2-0 in the 3rd, but they found their bats later in the game. Of particular note on offense, Jackson E. was 2-2 with 3 RBIs including a sac fly. On D, Gabe E. speared a line drive at 3rd and Eliot S. did the same at short to end the game.
