Scrappers Notes:
In a game much closer than the score indicates, the Scrappers pulled out a hard fought win against a solid Red Wings squad. Game ball to Gabriel C, who led the Scrappers with a base hit and 3 RBI, along with a solid outing in his season debut on the mound. Sam pitched 2 very efficient innings, facing the minimum 6 batters and backed by strong defensive play.
Julian S had a key line drive RBI single to center to help pace the attack. The Scrappers bats came alive in the game. Strong defense by the Red Wings robbed Donovan and Evan of sure base hits on balls that were scorched to 2B and SS. Base hits by Daniel and Griffin were also instrumental in the effort.
