| Team Summaries | Issaquah Notes: Lakeridge 4-4-1-0- 9 Issaquah 1-4-1-0- 6 A bit of a Northwest shootout and the Pacers lived up to their name as this one was a fast paced shootout... at least for a half. Issaquah got things started quickly as Ryan Egland wrapped around to finish solo. Lakeridge was quick to respond and in fact scored 4 unanswered as Issaquah defense was lost on the backside. Issaquah regrouped in the 2nd quarter and started finding backside looks of their own, many initiated from Egland. Issaquah had tied the game at 5 with four minutes left in the half. That final four minutes would prove costly though as some poor decisions and lack of transition defense opened the door for Lakeridge to rattle off three straight to regain the lead into half. Lakeridge got the first in the second half but Issaquah responded with a man-up tally. To Issaquah's credit the defense came together and slowed the Pacers down, shutting them out for 21 minutes. Unfortunately, Issaquah's offense wore itself out with too many unforced turnovers and when they did have chance they couldn't connect. Game ball to Cody Klansnic for being an absolute warrior in collecting 5 groundballs, scoring once and being a constant workhorse in helping Issaquah maintain possessions in the clearing and faceoff situations.
