Dom went 3-3 at the plate as Emeralds took home a 6-2 victory over Raptors in six innings on Monday. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and fifth innings.
Selim, pitched extremely well. He kept runners off the base paths in his appearance, allowing just one hit. He gave up two earned runs, two walks and struck out eight during his 3 1/3 innings of work.
Emeralds went up for good in the second, scoring one run on an RBI double by Xan. After pushing across one run in the bottom of the fourth, Raptors faced just a 3-1 deficit. An RBI single by #8 set off Raptors rally. Finally, Selim got #7 to fly out to end the threat.
Emeralds increased its lead with three runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when Colin homered.
After pushing across one run in the bottom of the sixth, Raptors faced just a 6-2 deficit. An RBI double by #3 gave Raptors life. The game went final when Isaiah ended the game with a strike out.
