| Team Summaries | Emeralds Notes: Emeralds jumped out to an early lead on Sea Dogs and captured a 14-5 victory on Friday at Reservoir Field With six runs in the first three innings, Emeralds got off to a hot start. An RBI single by Parker and an RBI single by Xan in the first inning and a groundout by Quinn, an RBI single by Dom, an RBI double by Luc, and a steal of home by Selim during the second inning supplied the early offense for Emeralds. Luc went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for Emeralds. Isaiah looked sharp on the hill. Isaiah held Sea Dogs hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four. Six Emeralds combined for 12 hits, eight RBIs and 11 runs scored. Four relief pitchers finished off the game for Emeralds. Isaiah faced five batters in relief, while Jayson managed to record two outs to aid the victory. Emeralds quickly matched Sea Dogs' strong inning with a four-run inning of its own in the second. Three Sea Dogs runs crossed the plate in the top half of the fourth, making the score 6-4. A walk by #8, a steal of home by #8, and a steal of home by #5 gave Sea Dogs life. Finally, Quinn got #9 to strike out to end the threat. It didn't take long for Emeralds to answer as it scored three runs of its own in the fourth. Emeralds scored on a steal of home by Quinn, an RBI single by Luc, and a steal of home by Luc. After a quick strike from Sea Dogs, Emeralds responded with five runs in the fifth.
