Emeralds Notes:
The Emeralds had a battle in the beautiful weather at Reservoir field today. The Mudcats were fearless and kept battling back, despite several players being hit by pitches. Michael started things off right for the Ems by pitching a scoreless first inning and he hit a ground rule double. Samuel also tossed a scoreless inning in a crucial situation. Selim was his consistent self on the mound. Parker and Isaiah both battled through tough innings, but earned the third out with some resilient work on the mound. Colin made his first appearance behind the plate and he looked great. Luc kept everything under control with 3 solid inning behind the plate. The game ball went to Cody for making some good stops at third and taking extra based when he had a chance.
