| Team Summaries | Emeralds Notes: The Ems and Hot Rods were embattled in a fierce contest today. After a solid first inning pitched by Parker, the Hot Rods scored 5 runs in the top of the second to take a 5-0 lead. The Ems chipped away scoring 3 runs in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th innings to earn their 9 runs. The Hot Rods made some fantastic plays including relay from RC to 2B to catch Luc trying to leg out a double. They also executed a smooth run down to get Colin out trying to take home on a passed ball. Michael pitched two solid innings giving up only one run and striking out 4 batters. Selim closed out the game with strong performance. After two tough at bats, Ryan hit a double late in the game. The Ems played well as a unit and are getting better as the season goes on.
