Hooks Notes:
Solid baseball game throughout by both teams. This long awaited SOLL matchup did not disappoint, and we can only hope the same for next Saturday's title fight in Vegas.
Back to baseball.......some solid pitching and a few clutch hits by both sides and we were knotted at 4 through 3 innings of play. Hooks got 2 more in the 4th after Caden W ripped a line drive to right and Mike D, the Doctor, followed it up with an infield single, all following Wes W and a leadoff walk. EJ got control of the game back and left the hooks with bases loaded to cap off the 4th inning, hooks 6-4. Zach J led off the 5th with a frozen rope double and then Ben S got the runner across on a great 2 strike swing to the right side, 7-4 Hooks. Zach J hit the soccer gear on the first batter he faced in the bottom of the 5th, but then shut down the next 6 batters in a row with 4 K's to close it out. Warriors broom game is next.
