| Team Summaries | Issaquah Notes: O'Dea 1-1-0-0- 2 Issaquah 1-4-6-5- 16 First Varsity game on new turf at PCMS was a wet one. A physical O'Dea group came out ready to play while Issaquah took a quarter to act like it was game day. After weathering the sluggish start, Issaquah began to move the ball with purpose and overcome the good performance being turned in by the Irish netmionder. O'Dea also did well to disrupt Issaquah's man-up and threw a zone much of the 2nd half. But Issaquah adjusted to it all and really got rolling. Mikey Giannopulos won 18 of 20 faceoffs and collected an astounding career high 20 groundballs. Evidence of the good ball movement is the 11 assists on Issaquah's 16 goals. O'Dea Notes: |
