Team Summaries	Klahowya Notes: Klahowya Eagles suffer a disappointing loss to the Gig Harbor Tides. The Eagles relinquished their lead in the fourth quarter, tied it up twice, before finally being edged out by the score of 9-8 in the last minute of the game. Hawley, Keller and Kallio were the Eagles top scorers with 5, 2 and 1 goals, respectively. Goalie Bergmann had 9 saves. KSS (3,2,2,3) GH (0,3,2,1) Gig Harbor Notes: These two teams have a great, competitive history. Klahowya has won 6 of the last 10 match ups. They opened the game dominating the 1st quarter 3-0. Gig Harbor fought back, but Klahowya did an excellent job stick checking and stripping the ball from the Tides. Elliot Hunter led Gig Harbor's face off efforts and the Tides won 14 of 19 face offs. The Eagles' Joe Hawley was unstoppable with 5 goals and 2 assists, participating in 7 of Klahowya's 8 goals. Nelson Snook (Tides) led both teams with 12 GBs. The Tides won the 2nd & 3rd quarters 3-2 each, bring the score to 7-6 (Eagles) going into the 4th quarter. Gig Harbor outscored Klahowya 3-1 in an exciting 4th that saw the score tied twice and a frantic last-minute scramble to run out the clock. Two great squads, another great battle.
