Team Summaries	Monroe Notes: No notes Meadowdale Notes: Scoring by quarter: Meadowdale: 4, 3, 1, 2: 10 Monroe: 4, 5, 0, 0: 9 What an intense game! Monroe put on a fantastic performance and were competitive throughout the contest. Meadowdale struggled with numerous penalties (11 in the 1st half), giving Monroe multiple man-up opportunities. Monroe led at halftime 9-7, but Meadowdale tuned up the defense in the 2nd half and had an amazing performance by rookie goal keeper Nathan Paul who was in the cage for the first time. Nathan had 4 saves in the 4th quarter alone, including one while man-down with under a minute left in the game, preventing Monroe from tying it up for a chance at overtime. After Josh Schleisman dodged crease to tie it up 9-9 with 9 minutes left, the game winner came a minute later on a feed from Shane Hayes to Charlie Baillargeon who scored his 4th goal of the night. The Chiefs found themselves with 3 players in the penalty box with 5 minutes left but somehow found a way to keep Monroe from scoring. This was a game that could have gone either way and both teams knew it and played competitive lacrosse to the end. Well done. The
