| Team Summaries | Islanders Notes: Warm Sunday mornings feel like... playoff baseball! The Islanders had no problems waking up this morning, scoring 3 in the home half of the first and going on to post a crooked number in every inning in which they batted... Before the offense got started, tho, the Islanders had to play defense. Wubba took the mound in the first, striking out three and stranding a runner at third. Roller Coaster contributed in the second, nailing a runner at second (nice double tag Marmaduke). In the top of the third, leading 5-0, Wubba pitch counted, so Doctor relieved with an out and two runners threatening. The Stars rallied behind a walk, a blast and a sacrifice to tie the game. Undaunted, Team Haka exploded for 5 of their own. Boom Boom's infield single and a couple walks were followed by Blanco's blast to right center which scored 2 and ended the inning. Mumbles came on and mowed through the fourth aided by strong defense; Skittles caught a ball launched to right center that had double written all over it and Roller Coaster threw out another would be thief, this time at third (nice tag Bruiser!). Mumbles closed out the 5th and final inning with two strikeouts and another caught stealing at third base (nice tag Tomato!). Next up, the winner's bracket finals vs the Rockhounds!
