| Team Summaries | Islanders Notes: The Rays start strong, scoring 2 in the top of the first, but Wubba settled things down with an 8-pitch 1-2-3 top of the second that led to 5 runs in the bottom half. Christopher sacrifices home a run, and gets 2 RBIs when Rocky scampers home all the way from second! Mumbles knocks in the final run with a short single. Team Haka steals 3 more in the third, Wubba, Bruiser and Boomboom all swiping home! But that would end the scoring for the Islanders and the Rays were just getting started. RollerCoaster pitched a strong fourth, but a couple errors and some unusual throwing the ball after the runner action cost the Islanders 3 runs before he could end the inning with a check swing comebacker. The Rays scored two to tie in the top of the fifth, and then wiped an Islander off the bases with an L-3-Unassisted DP by EliC (great play!). Playing on a school night means no squeezing in a 6th inning, and so the game ends knotted at 8s.
