Rockhounds Notes:
We completed our first 'double header weekend' with two close wins. Today we started strong on the pitching front with Aidan and Mason taking us through the third inning and allowing only two runs. It was Mason's first time on the mound this season and he pitched great. Our pitching got a little shaky after that with many walks given up. Luckily our hitting picked up and we built enough of a lead to hold off the Knights.

Keon and Caleb had good hits and EJ continued his hot hitting by getting two more today. It was Aidan however, who had the banner day. With the bases loaded, and building off his earlier strong pitching performance, Aidan clocked a screaming line drive up the middle that sliced through the outfielders. He ended up at third and with 3 RBI's!

Good and aggressive base running by the 'Hounds' also contributed to our 14 run total. As we approach the mid point in the season, the Rockhounds appear ready to make a strong second half push!
