| Team Summaries | Lookouts Notes: The score doesn't accurately portray how well the Lookouts played today. The Dragons came to play and you could see the fire in their eyes when they took the field. Coached by the nicest men in the league, the Dragons were not going to let the Lookouts win this game. They put it all together today with oustanding defense, solid pitching and timely hitting. But all the Lookouts should hold their heads high today. Our hitting is finally coming around. Solid contact from Yahoo and Almond, and a keen eye at the plate from D-Griff resulted in seven earned runs. On defense, once again Sandman (formally known as Papa Grande) Country Boy, and Hillbilly (great catching behind the plate today) all flashed the leather that's giving the Lookouts the reputation as a solid defensive team. Many earned it, but one Lookout stood out above the rest today. Almond started the game on the bump and threw nothing but strikes. At the plate she lead the team with two hits, a run and RBI and today Almond walked away with a smile on her face and the game ball in her hand. Great game Almond. Dragons Notes: |
