Lookouts Notes:
Phew! We avoided the rain! Although about half way through the game, deep down I was kind of hoping it would start raining!

Our game against our Friends from the North did not go as planned. After staking them to an early 5-0 lead, the Fighting Lookouts didn't give up! Instead, with some clutch pitching by D-Griff and Gramps, the Pair of Eyes was able to mount a comeback and made the game close. Our Eyes defense once again looked sharp with excellent plays by Country Boy and Papa Grande, and great catching by Yahoo, Hill Billy and Snake.

The Los Ojos need to spend a bit more time working on their offense, though. 12 men left on base, and 12 strikeouts isn't going to cut it for these Lookouts. Gramps continues to hit the ball hard, and throughout the lineup we were able to get on base, but couldn't drive the runs in with key hits. Leave your gloves home for our next practice Visuals, becuase we're going to be doing A LOT of swinging!

The game ball goes to D-Griff, who shut the door in the second inning, and breathed life into the Lookouts. Great game D-Griff.
