Lookouts Notes:
It was a cold, wet, cold and cold morning for the first game of the new day light savings season. As the clouds darkened the sky, and the rain moistened the field, the Lookouts took on the Knights of Oakland in a game that would be decided by a Country Boy and a kid they call K-Cohen!

The game was 1-0 through three innings as Papa Grande shut down the Men on Horses on 12 pitches in the first inning and breezed through the second. In the 3rd Gramps was on the bump and dominated once again. After building a six run lead, the Jousters made it close and eventually tied it up in the 5th at nine.

And that's when the Lookouts used some patients at the plate. Nascar, Papa Grande and K-Cohen walked to set up Country Boy who exploded on a 1-1 pitch for a line drive double that plated two and put the game away for the Outs de Look.

On offense the Lookouts finally got their bats going. Yahoo, Almond and Urkle hit the ball hard. But M&M does nothing but hit the ball hard. In fact, he either hits the ball hard, or gets hit by the ball hard! And today was no different. Taking a high hard one right in the middle of his back ignited the Lookouts in the 5th and they never looked back. And M&M couldn't feel his back!

As Halle Barry made his season debut on the mound he and the other Lookout fireballers looked sharp once again. Any of the Lookout pitchers could have earned the game ball today, but instead there's no better candidate than Country Boy as he came through in the clutch like he's done for this coach time and time again. Great game Country Boy.
