Stars Notes:
Coach Windels couldn't make the game due to a prior date with the election staff, temporarily becoming Inspector Windels. Had to note though that the Stars pulled off a strong win behind some great pitching. Zach L, the 13th and last Stars pitcher to record an out and strikeout in the regular season pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings. After walking 3 batters, he fielded a soft line drive and threw to 1st for a double play and proceeded to strikeout the next batter looking to end the threat. Congrats to a player who made the effort to get past a few outings of all walks and has totally come into his game! Coach Jeff gave out 13 game balls after the game. Guess we're going to need a new supply soon!
