| Team Summaries | Stars Notes: Finally, the return of baseball after weeks of muck and rain. Rookie Caden came out of the gate firing strikes to strike out the first 2 batters, then ran into a little trouble. Rookie reliever Colin came out to back up his teammate and got us out of the first inning. The score stayed close throughout the game with both teams having innings with no runs allowed. The late inning Stars pitchers had some trouble with walks and we started the bottom of the 4th down 13-10. Redding smashed a line drive out past the infielders to start the rally and the Stars pulled into a tie with 2 outs. We squeaked by with a win on the walk, but a valiant effort was made by both sides in this nail biter. Grays Notes: |
