| Team Summaries | Timber Rattlers Notes: Midweek baseball: It's weird. A vicious case of practicing-in-the-rain sidelined the appropriately named Thunder and Lighting, so there was plenty of extra PT to go around this evening. Rhino and Stub each gave the T-Rats 2 strong on the mound to start. Rhino struggled with his control in the first, striking out 3 but walking 5 and eventually giving up 4. A towering double by TonyT did the bulk of the damage. Rhino settled down in the 2nd, facing just 4 (including a scalded line drive that Mango speared) and holding the line at 4-0. Stub was more efficient, giving up a singlet in each of his two innings. The T-Rat bats lay dormant (nice pitching Clam!) until they posted a crooked number in the bottom of the 3rd to draw within a run. Another crooked number in the 4th, and the lead finally changed hands. It might have been more, but Bamboo laced what looked like an RBI single (his second of the game) with one foot out of the box... DOH! Lesson learned... The final T-Rat at bat was their best of the day. Fingers, Bulldog, Clyde and Stub all contributed hits and Mango executed a perfect 3-U RBI sacrifice.
