Timber Rattlers Notes:
T-Rats play 1!

In the first of two games on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the shorthanded T-Rats (just 8 players) opened up a lead against the Volcanoes, then matched runs for the final 3 to get the victory.

Bamboo took the mound for the 2nd time this year, and showed how he has grown. He did a great job of putting the ball in play (his first time was mostly walks) for his defense to work with. Thunder closed out the 5th with three straight Ks.

Offensive highlights: Clyde went 2 for 4, but reached and scored all 4 times with sharp balls in play. Verne and Thunder added another couple hits each and Bamboo hit a towering Sacrifice fly to left.
