Providence then answered back with unassisted goals by Calab Moisant and Bryce Hummel. Hale finished the first quarter with a goal by Riley Johnson fading to the right, followed quickly by a left-handed frozen-rope goal by Alex Wright. End of first quarter score 3-3. The two teams traded goals, keeping within one goal of each other throughout the second quarter. Will Snider took control from behind the crease with a goal and assist. Nathan Hale built a two goal advantage after three quarters, with 3 goals by Snider. A quick goal in the fourth quarter by Matthew Morris brought Providence to within one. The remainder of the quarter was contested back and forth without goals.
