Lake Stevens, WA - A classic Friday night match-up of the top two ranked teams in the Cascade Conference met all expectations. Both teams exchanged goals in the first quarter that ended in a 3 to 3 tie. Snohomish's offense figured out the Everett defense and erupted for 7 goals in the 2nd to take a 10 to 5 lead into halftime. Snohomish added 3 more in the 3rd to increase their lead to 13-6 at the end of the 3rd. Snohomish took a 2 minute non-releasable penalty at 9:47 left in the 4th and Everett took advantage scoring 3 goals during the man-up opportunity knocking Snohomish back on their heels and a huge swing in the momentum to Everett's favor. Snohomish avoided another goal but took a cross check penalty in the process. Everett quickly took advantage of the man-up scoring just :07 seconds into the penalty. Snohomish responded with 3 more goals and held off several more Everett attack's to end the game 16-11.

Snohomish was lead by Gabe Girgus (So. A) who had 6 goals and snagged 3 gb's, Harrison Warte (Jr. M) scored 3 goals and 2 assists while grabbing 8 gb's, Captain Austin Tippett (Jr. A) scored 2 goals and 2 assist, Devin Remlinger (Jr. A) added 2 goals and an assist, Mike Gianola (Sr. A) added a goal and an assist, Captain Brandon Todd (Sr. M) added a goal, 2 assists and 10 gb's, and Miles Russon (Fr. M) rounded out the scoring by adding a goal of his own. Davyd Powell (So. D) played a solid game by adding 8 gb's and Captain Tucker Cooper (Sr. G) got the win with 9 saves on 20 shots. Snohomish has a tough week next week with three games in a row against North County, Providence and Monroe.

Everett played an outstanding game on both sides of the ball and were led by Senior Midfielder Chas Stringfellow who scored 3 goals, 6 assists and grabbed a game-high 15 gb's. Jared Hawkins scored 4 goals and an assist, Ian Strong added 3 goals, and Andrew Schaffer scored a goal and an assist. Merrick Rutledge had a solid night in goal with 9 saves on 25 shots.
