| Team Summaries | Edmonds Notes: SCORING: M: 0 0 0 1 -- 1 E: 3 2 2 7 -- 14 LYNNWOOD, Wash. The Edmonds Chiefs defeated the Monroe Bearcats 14-1 on the second meeting of the two teams this year. Edmonds led 7-0 at the end of three quarters but Monroe started to rally at the beginning of the fourth with a goal by Jared Schultz. The Chiefs came back hard putting in another 7 goals, one by rookie midfielder Shane Hays for his first ever. Edmonds leading scorers were Josh Rutz (So-A) with 4 goals, 4 assists, and 4 ground balls; Kris Delaney (Sr-M) with 4 goals; Jordan Tindall (So-M) with 3 goals and 7 ground balls; Nick Peters (Jr-A) with 2 goals and an assist. The Chiefs D-poles raked in 21 ground balls, 14 of them by Niko May (So-D). Edmonds goalie Arik Bolinger made 11 saves from 9 different Monroe shooters in the game.
