| Team Summaries | Stanwood Notes: Like the last game between these two clubs, this was a hotly contested match. Stanwood jumped to a 3-0 lead in the 1st quarter behind goals by Frank Medlicott, Michael Sams and Garrett Savoy, but Skagit Valley's Peter Isaacson scored to keep things close. In the second, Stanwood looked ready to run away with the game, with three more goals, but again, Skagit Valley chalked up a score. The score at the half was Stanwood 6, Skagit Valley 2. Skagit Valley and Stanwood exchanged goals in the 3rd, to put the score at 7-3 on goals by Stanwood's Josh Smith and SV's Mac Burnett. In the 4th however, Skagit Valley started to make a run, with goals by Brady Morris and Burnett. With some hard-hitting play on both sides, Stanwood was able to hang on for the 7-5 win. Leaders for Stanwood: Frank Medlicott - 2 goals, 1 assist, 17 ground balls; Garrett Savoy - 2 goals and 1 GB; Josh Smith - 2 goals and 1 ground ball; Michael Sams - 1 goal and 4 GB.
