A few minutes later senior Eric Adair of Providence fired in his first goal of the night. He would end up scoring half of his team's goals in this game. Providence led after the first quarter 3-2 in a hard fought, close game. Providence used some nice passing to lengthen the lead in the second quarter, including a last second shot to end the half at 6-3. Both teams were tired in the second half, as they only combined for a total of three goals. Both teams fought hard and well and were pretty even. One big difference in the game was the Providence freshman goalie Cole Butaud who had an amazing 14 saves for the game!! Good game Cavaliers!! Best wishes for the rest of the season.
