The Comcast folks picked a good one to be at as the weather held off and this one went down to double overtime!

Bellevue came out hot and Drew Douglas showed early he would be tough to control all night. Douglas fired one home on a little turn around jumper just over a minute in. Ben Director got it right back for Issaquah though on solo after that saw him weave through at least 3 defenders. Less than a minute later Alex Cizsewski snuck one home on a feed from Duncan Hamilton. Appeared this game might be a high scoring shootout but both defenses dug in and there would be no goals for ten minutes of play until Douglas tied it up early in the 2nd quarter on a feed from Cole Johnson. Johnson did well to snake around the double team behind the cage and found Dougnlas cutting down the back pipe. A minute and change later Douglas weaved through a few defenders himself to wrap around the cage and give Bellevue its first lead. Almost ten more minutes of good defensive work before Issaquah got one last chance before halftime. Coming out of a timeout, the play brokedown and didn't go any bit as planned. The ball ended up on the ground in front of the cage and Zach Fritz made a huge play in digging it out and putting home with just 3 seconds left to tie it up.

Issaquah took the lead back at the 7:19 mark of the third quarter when Matt O'Neill blistered the top corner from a low angle on a man-up. Cole Johnson tied it up with 2:29 in the quarter after intercepting an outlet pass. Just a minute into the 4th, Bellevue took the lead back as Johnson found a cutting Simon Jenkins and Jenkins made a great play to find the top shelf despite falling forward. Issaquah got it right back though as Kole Lindor won the groundball and pushed a mini-break. He found O'Neill who rifled in a lefty burner from up top. Four minutes later Issaquah took the lead back as Issaquah again made the most of a broken play. Duncan Hamilton kept the ball alive and moved to O'Neill who ripped his third of the night. Issaquah had chances to put it away but the Wolverine defense rose to the occasion and got the ball back when needed. Douglas would score his 4th of the night from Andrew Gulrajani to tie the game once again with just over 2 minutes to play.

In the first OT, Bellevue had the first chance but a big save and subsequent race to the sideline gave Issaquah possession. A hard luck offside call on Bellevue gave Issaquah a man-up chance to end it but Issaquah couldn't connect the pass on the doorstep. Issaquah had another great chance 6v6 but Austin Boyd stoned Zach Fritz on the doorstep. Bellevue then again got caught chasing offside after a failed chance of their own with just 4 seconds left in the first overtime. Issaquah carried the man-up into double ovetime and this time Ben Director's skip pass found Julian Ritchie alone at the back pipe... he finished and the dogpile ensued!

Another stellar defensive effort from Austin Richert keeping Cole Johnson in relative check. Kole Lindor continues to be all over the place between the lines. Mitchell Undi played his best game to date. Four big saves for O'Neil Hughes in the first half followed by six from Brady Hahn in the 2nd half and OT backed the win.
