Mudcats Notes:
The Mudcats took on the second seed Hammerheads Sunday afternoon, one day later than expected because of rain--not surprising for this particular soggy season.

Ace Goldberg kept the Hammerheads on their heals and went deep into the game (4+ innings), and Zen Bone Crusher Berrick came in and closed the door. With a combination of stellar pitching and strong defense the Mudcats held the Hammerheads from scoring. It wasn't easy. The Hammerheads are a great team and they kept threatening to the very end.
