Timber Rattlers Notes:
The T-Rats were excited to get back to weekend baseball with their 10th game of the season. Both teams sent new and nearly new pitchers to the mound, resulting in a time limited 4 inning game.

The Crawfords plated runs in each inning, but four young T-Rat hurlers did their jobs this morning, limiting the damage to 8 total runs over that span. Clam struck out the side in the first. Fingers threw just enough strikes to get out of a 5-walk inning with only 3 runs scored. Cottonball made his season debut and showed a lot of poise as he struggled with his control. Wiffle also made his first appearance on the mound and he showed everyone how to pitch into the defense, inducing 2 grounders.

The offense was consistent up and down the lineup - only 4 T-Rats struck out. Standing out in today's deep batting lineup was Bullwinkle (2 for 2, HR, Sac)
