Game Summary | The great American Poet, Stephen Tyler, once wrote, 'Sometimes you need to lose to know how to win.' or something like that! The Sea Dogs suffered their first loss of the season today but wouldn't back down despite the Red Wings tenancity to score early and often. R made his career debut at pitcher followed by Peter Pan. Enter Sandman and Gramps who shut the door and kept the Dogs in the game until the end. On offense, the Dogs took a while to get their bats going and despite being doubled up by the Red Wings, swung the bats well. Sandman and Country Boy led the offensive attack with two hits a piece, but it wasn't quite enough to catch the dominating Red Wings on this day. Game ball went to Sandman for his ability to keep the scoring where it was and give his teammates a chance to close the gap. Oh, that, and the fact that he also hit a double and triple, drove in two and scored one! He also happens to be the cutest kid on the team! Great game Red Wings! |
