Team Summaries Sea Dogs Notes:
The Crawfords and the Sea Dogs played a very close contest that came down to the last inning. Both teams really played their hearts out and it was great to see two teams so evenely matched. Both teams won, as far is the Sea Dogs are concerned. Coach Skinner and his staff had their kids playing great baseball.

As for the Dogs, like our first game great pitching was the name of the game. Our starter, Shaggy Dog Frankie, pitched amazing. No hits through two innings including striking out the side in the second. Shaggy ran out of gas with two outs in the 3rd and Country Boy JD finished what Shaggy started. Country Boy pitched until two outs in the 6th when he handed the ball over to Peter Pan who slammed the door shut on five pitches.

The Crocker Connection carried the team on offense. Sandman and TK lead the way with two hits apiece. But the game winning RBI came in the bottom of the fifth off the bat of Teddy Double M when he stroked a ball to the right side of the infield scoring Sandman with the go ahead and eventual winning run!

The game ball went to JD for coming in and shutting the door on a potential rally in the 3rd and keeping the strong and powerfull Crawfords at bay while the young Dogs finally figure out how to hit the Crawfords ace!

Great games today everyone.

Crawfords Notes:
Great game against the Sea Dogs. This is what it is supposed to look like. Pitchers throwing strikes, fielders making plays and big hits by both teams.
Crawfords got it going strong defensively with Tyler making a great pick at second. Nice strong starting pitching by Marshall, then an incredible relief appearance by Zane who was throwing first-pitch strikes to most of his batters. Railey stepped in to finish it off with a mere 7 pitches.
Henry continues to be the Crawfords' clutch hitter with a 2-out, 2 rbi single, and Zack came up with a big double to keep a rally going.
This game could have gone either way, and that's what makes it fun. Congrats to the Sea Dogs.
