Rockhounds Notes:
It was great to be playing baseball again. The game didn't go our way but we're making great progress on finding our pitching staff. Bryce and Hugh had tremendous first outings on the mound. Jessica, Joey and Alex also had solid innings again. We're looking to work in two new pitchers next week.

Our defense still needs work but we had several good defensive plays topped off by an outstanding catch by Sara out in right field. The whole field erupted in cheers when she pulled in the flyball.

This game had great pitching on both sides. Hats off to the Volcanoes.
