| Team Summaries | Sea Dogs Notes: The Domestic Pet Cup went to the Sea Dogs! The Cats had their claws out and they made that ugly hissing noise, but it wasn't enough to stop the Sea Dogs. The Cats looked well coached and never gave up but they ran out of lives this night. The Dogs were down early 4-0. With the bases loaded and no outs in the first inning, Sandman was called in to pitch. During a brief meeting on the mound Hills said to the coach, 'Don't worry coach. I'll get us out of this one.' The coach responded, 'Hills it would take a miracle triple play to get us out of this jam.' 'I got this.' said Hills. And on the next pitch, as if Hills summoned the powers of the gods and has control over the universe...yup, you guessed it, Hills turns a 6-3 TRIPLE PLAY to get out of the inning! Another game....another web gem from Hills! A squared, Sandman, TKO and Gramps looked solid on the mound, too! The triple play turned the momentum over to the Dogs. Great hitting today from Gramps, A squared, and Shaggie, and the next thing you know, the Dogs overcome the deficit and win going away. Terrific defense once again from R, B, and Slammin Sammy, and the never quit attitude of Double MM gave this coach something to be proud of. Even Country Boy looked confortable at SS. Game Ball goes to IT. After spending much of the game on his own hitting off a tee, he smokes a single pass 3rd base in the 4th, proving that working hard pays off. Great job IT! Kudo's also goes to our pinch hitting umpire, Shane Broome. With very little notice he gets called up to do the game by himself, and he does a great job. Really a perfect job behind the plate!
