Sea Dogs Notes:
Well, that settles that! If the final score doesn't tell you who the better team is, than I don't know what will!

What a great game. Both teams played excellent defense (the Dogs turned two double plays) and the pitching dominated the game for both sides. And in the end the Sea Dogs remained undefeated!

For the Sea Dogs, Shaggy and Country Boy threw strikes as if they were a pitching machine all night long. Shaggy needed 33 pitches in 3 innings to no-hit the the Mudcats. As for defense, Country Boy turned a 1-3 doubleplay in the second. But his double play paled in comparison to the play of the year so far for the Dogs. In the 5th Hills fielded a one happer at SS, stepped on the bag at second and threw a beebee to 1b for the 6-3 doubleplay. I don't think many major league ss would have made that play.

Despite the superb pitching the game ball went to Hills for the remarkable and memorable DP! Great play Hills.
