Timber Rattlers Notes:
Defense was the name of the game this morning at Montera... The Islanders and T-Rats between them could only muster a half dozen hits, with plays all over the diamond, and even two outfield assists!

For the T-Rats, 4 pitchers made their season debuts, including 2 making their career debuts on the mound. Altho we saw some control struggles from the new pitchers, the T-Rats stayed positive and did their best to get the ball to the defense on a regular basis.

KungFu was the most effective of the T-Rats pitchers, needing just 11 pitches to put a zero on the board in the first. He was the beneficiary of some stellar defensive support from Bootsy's glove at short. Strawberry was on the receiving end of an 8-4 putout at 2nd base. Q added two assists behind Red Bull in the 4th.
