Team Summaries Evergreen Notes:
North Kitsap 11, Evergreen 5

It was a familiar story for North Kitsap--and for Evergreen as well.
Mallory Glebe and Emilie Poffenroth, who have combined to score 75 percent of North Kitsap's goals this season, teamed up for nine tallies as a part of an 11-5 win over Evergreen Saturday at McKenzie Stadium in Vancouver.
Olivia Otto, the team's third leading scorer, opened NK's account in the opening minute of play with the first of her two goals, as the visitors took a 4-1 halftime advantage.
Val Kranich and Ashley Ah Chan split time in the nets, with each goalie recording six saves.
Mackenzie Nelson had three goals to lead Evergreen, but the Black Cats offense was unable to make the most of its scoring opportunities to remain winless for the season.
Casey Bahr had seven saves for ELC.
Evergreen kicks off the second half of its season Tuesday at Tahoma, while North Kitsap hosts rival Klahowya Thursday night at Strawberry Field.

North Kitsap Notes:
The game got off to a fast start with NK’s Olivia Otto scoring the first goal in the first minute.

Evergreen held off NK for about 10 minutes before NK’s next goal was scored by Mallory Glebe. Evergreen answered back quickly with their first goal. Glebe responded with her second goal for NK. She completed a hat trick to close out the half, giving NK a 4-1 lead.

The second half started off slower with 5 minutes gone before Evergreen found the net to bring the score to 4-2.

NK’s Emilie Poffenroth then ran off 2 goals that were answered by Evergreen making the score 6-4 with 18 minutes remaining in the half.

Glebe’s goal two minutes later broke open the game for NK with Poffenroth adding two goals, one on an assist from Val Kranich, bringing the score to 9-4.

Evergreen added one more goal but Otto and Glebe, off an assist from Poffenroth, gave NK two more to finish the game at 11-5.
