Team Summaries	Stanwood Notes: No notes Providence Notes: Score by Qtrs Prov 2..1..1..2....6 Stan 0..0..3..2....5 Providence slowly inched ahead during the first half of a rainy, wet game on a soaking, muddy field. Stanwood got some good shots, but they were saved by Providence goalie David Wartes. Stanwood came out strong in the third quarter and tied the game 3-3. Connor Merrit had a beautiful behind the back shot to tie the game. Providence got one back just before the fourth quarter. But at the beginning of the fourth quarter Stanwood, being man down, won the faceoff and scored to tie the game at 4-4. Providence could not score even though they were man-up for a while and even 2 men-up for 30 secs. But they finally scored on a 2 min unreleaseable penalty on Stanwood. Stanwood scored with 30 seconds to go to make the score 6-5. The ensuing faceoff was a 25 second muddy scrum. Stanwood came up with the ball but did not have time to get a shot off.
