Whatcom Notes: Whatcom boys drop Skagit Valley in OT lacrosse win MT. VERNON – Mac Cook scored 3 goals and Austin Billet collected 9 ground balls as Whatcom advanced to 2 - 0 with a 7 – 6 overtime win over Skagit Valley, Friday at Mt. Vernon High School. Kurtis McFadden tallied 18 saves in goal to help set up the win for Whatcom. Griffin Van Bausch had 2 goals for Skagit Valley in the loss.
