| Team Summaries | Issaquah Notes: King's Way 2-1-2-2- 7 Issaquah 3-3-7-4- 17 Finally a great day of weather made for a perfect night of lacrosse. Issaquah struggled early to find true rhythm offensively with several uncharacteristic turnovers but managed to work in and out of different offensive sets well enough to pull away to a 6-2 halftime advantage. The third quarter belonged to the purple and gold though as they scored 7 times in the quarter. The momentum continued and led to some great sequences early in the fourth ending in transition goals and pushing the game to a running clock. Issaquah's defense did well to hold the league's leading point scorer, Jack Beall to just two assists until he scored two goals in the last two minutes. A career high groundball night for Matt O'Neill as he helped take some faceoffs and provided a change of pace in that regards. King's Way Notes: |
