Team Summaries	Blue Jays (Ogata-Royal Blue) Notes: The Jays lost a close game Saturday, falling 18-23 against the Cheese Puffs. The Jays started off with three players making their opening free throws. Jackie Lim (1), Katilyn Ogata (6) and Briana St. Denis (9). The Jays had the lead the whole first quarter and most of the the second, with Alden O'Rafferty (4) getting to the free throw line and then draining a 10 footer to tie it up 10-10 at the half. The 3rd quarter saw the Jays score on some flashy work by Jeanine Rivera (8), but they were down 15-19 starting the 4th. The 4th quarter was a defensive battle that the Jays came out on the short end of, but not before a heroic effort on every players part. Cheese Puffs (Gee-Orange) Notes: East Ocean Cheese Puffs 23 vs. Triple Threat Academy Blue Jays 18 The Cheese Puffs held off the Blue Jays 23-18 to earn their ninth win of the season. The Puffs were led by point guard Katie Gee's 10 points. Shooting guards Erin Schmitz and Adrien Ha added 6 points, while forwards Lizzy Avery and Chantel Zavala-Sheridan chipped in 7 points. Tied at 10-10 at halftime, strong defense by Maddie Kao, Rowan Esquer and Teagan Waterloo slowed the Jays in the second half.
