| Team Summaries | Blue Jays (Ogata-Royal Blue) Notes: The Blue Jays captured their 2nd win of the season with a great, all-around team effort. Naomi Phillips made a pair of free throws to tie the game 10-10 at the half. The game stayed close until 3:40 left in the 3rd period, when Briana St. Denis made a basket to put the Blue Jays ahead 14-13. Over the next 2 minutes, the Blue Jays stingy defense denied the Magic Sparks a basket. With 20 seconds left in the 3rd period, a steal and fastbreak layup by Jeanine Rivera put the Blue Jays up 16-13. Rivera would go on to make two 3-pointers in the 4th period and finish with 15 points. Great passing from Rivera to Yasmine Rodriguez to Alden O'Rafferty assisted St. Denis with a basket to allow the Blue Jays to close out the game 24-21.
