| Game Summary | The Blue Jays lost a tough game to the Cheese Puffs 27-15, but not without a great defensive stand from Jamie Reynolds (5), Jackie Lim (1) and Naomi Phillips (7). The trio helped keep the game within reach the first half and Jeanine Rivera tied the game 10-10 in the 3rd quarter with a running 3 pointer, but the Cheese Puffs were able to pull away in the 4th and win the game. The game was tied at the end of the 3rd quarter, but the Puffs went on a 13-0 run in the fourth quarter to take the lead for good. Lizzy Avery led the Puffs with 18 points. Strong defense by Katie Gee and Erin Schmitz shut down the Jays in the second half. Teagan Waterloo and Olivia Lebo-Planas contributed to the win with outstanding hustle. |
