Jasper K. (1-0) tossed 3.1 innings of scoreless relief to earn his first win of the season, scattering 3 hits while walking 1 and striking out 1. The Reds offense was able to come to life in the later innings of the game to allow them to pull away from a solid Astros squad. Mickey H. (2 for 3, 2 R, 3 RBI) and Christopher B. (2 for 2, 2 R, 2 RBI, 3 BB) were the catalysts. Jake M. went 1 for 2 with 1 RBI and 3 BB, and he started a key double play late in the game that helped halt a potential Astro rally.
