| Team Summaries | Issaquah Notes: Lakeland/Panas 2-3-4-3- 12 Issaquah 3-1-1-2- 7 Despite giving up the first goal of the game less then a minute into the contest, Issaquah looked sharp for the first 20 minutes of play in taking a 4-2 lead. But a lull in intensity the last five minutes of the first half allowed Panas to take a 5-4 lead into halftime. Issaquah regrouped and scored the first of the second half to tie the game at five, but then the purple and gold just fell absolutely flat. Panas capitalized on their man-up opportunites and some other Issaquah mental mistakes to rattle off seven unasnswered goals over the next 15 minutes of play. Issaquah battled until the end, scoring the last two to make the 12-7 final. Kudos to Todd Jones for his effort, going 2g,2a assists on the day. Panas' attackman, #6 proved the difference for the Rebels notching 4g,4a. The loss marked the first time since midseason 2007 that Issaquah has lost two straight games as well as having given up 10+ goals in two straight games. Lakeland/Panas Notes: |
