Team Summaries	Vashon Notes: A young but eager and disciplined Tacoma team jumped to a 4 - 1 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.Vashon got close in the 3rd to pull within a goal at 7 - 6. Tacoma responded with two goals to open the fourth and then did a fine job of controlling the ball to prevent Vashon from making a run. Congratulations to a fine Tacoma team on its first Division I win. Vashon looks forward to eliminating penalties and the little mistakes. Tacoma Notes: Tacoma 4 2 1 2 - 9 Vashon 1 1 4 1 - 7 Lions came out fast again scoreing off the opening face-off just 9 seconds into the game and never looked back. Defense held strong early in the game not letting Vashon get comfortable on offense while Tacoma was able to hold posession on offense and take great shots. Great ball movement from the attack with Max Jones leading the way with 1g and 4a and freshman Connor McLeod getting his first career hat trick with one of the goals being a great shot while diving into the middle and avoiding landing in the crease. Rega held firm in cage stopping some key shots in the 4th quarter when Vashon was trying to mount a comeback. Welcome to D1 Tacoma, great win.
