The game started out slow with Anthony Martinez and Mac Burnett from Skagit Valley controlling the faceoff x and coming up with most of the ground balls, the first half ending at 2-1 Skagit Valley. Woodinville came out stronger in the 2nd half, with 3 unanswered goals in the 3rd period to take a 4-2 lead. Skagit Valley fought hard and brought the game back to a 4-4 tie with 8 minutes to go. Woodinville goalie Dalton Combs gave a pep talk at the timeout. Freshman Nathan Paris came out and scored a nice top corner goal to pull ahead, and JD Chapman fed Colter Clinch for one more. Skagit Valley's Blake Berg answered with one, but time ran out with Woodinville ahead 6-5 the final. Thanks for a good match Flyers, and good luck with the rest of the season.
