Game Summary The Black Magic won the first half 14-7 on their pressure defense, but lost the second half 17-8 as the Element hexed the Black Magic’s shooting. Matt Esparza led the Black Magic with 12 points, Chris Kim had nine rebounds, Charley Nordin had three steals, Kenyon Ebert sank a three-pointer, and Amer Vilogorac had three points and five rebounds.

Team Element, sponsored by the Alameda Police Officers' Association, won a tough fought game against the Black Magic 24 to 22. After an early lead by the Magic, the Element fought back with tough defense and strong fourth quarter scoring. The team was led by Rahman Kelly who scored 10 points and pulled down 12 rebounds. Malacio Bakhaus contributed 4 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals, while Daniel McCormick added 4 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals and 2 assists.
